After having worked for years in advertising - specialising in beauty branding & integrated marketing - Anouk de Jonge decided to pursue her life-long dream of launching her own line of quality handbags. In 2010, she founded Ella Valentine. Simultaneously, the idea to import and sell a small collection of quality Italian leather handbags was born. Anouk holds a design and communications - BFA degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. She now lives in London.

Ella Valentine selects the finest Italian leathers for all of their handbags. Only butter-soft, tumbled calfskin and smooth, fine-grain leather is used. The bags are hand produced in small quantities by artisans in Italy. By being an online boutique, Ella Valentine is able to offer premium quality & high-fashion style at very competitive prices.

Ella Valentine Italia handbags and products are designed, and manufactured in Italy by a small family owned company in a collaborative effort. Ella Valentine Boutique collections are designed and manufactured in the UK, using only specially selected tanneries in Italy.
